THE GUTHRIE THEATER is an American center for theater performance, production, education and professional training, known for its dynamic productions of classic and contemporary plays.

Riverview Theater

This is a neighborhood theater that shows current movies at the end of their theater run. It is a 700 hundred seat theater, that has great seats and audio sound. It is a refurbished Theater from the 50s,the design of the building is very unique. Tickets are 2&3 dollars per movie. They have some great popcorn with real butter. It is not a theater complex. Wonderful views from pretty much anywhere in the park, decent city views and excellent concessions make this a fun place to go to watch a baseball game!

Beautiful Twin Cities

Minneapolis is a major city in Minnesota that forms "Twin Cities" with the neighboring state capital of St. Paul. Bisected by the Mississippi River, it's known for its parks and lakes. Minneapolis is also home to many cultural landmarks like the Walker Art Center, a contemporary art museum, and the adjacent Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, famed for Claes Oldenburg's "Spoonbridge and Cherry" sculpture.
The city's other notable art museums include the Minneapolis Institute of Art and the ultramodern University of Minnesota's Weisman Art Museum. In Downtown, the Mill City Museum recalls Minneapolis' industrial history on the grounds of a former mill, while the historic Guthrie Theater presents Shakespeare plays and contemporary productions. A scenic bike path and cross-country skiing trails wind past the city's main lakes, dubbed the Chain of Lakes. The neighborhoods of Uptown and North Loop draw visitors to their boutique shops, chic cafes and bars.

Peak travel is summer (May–Sep), when the weather's warm. Grand Old Days (St. Paul, Jun) is a street festival with a parade, live music and food stands. Aquatennial (Jul), an annual celebration of the city's lakes and rivers, includes family-friendly events and a fireworks display. Winter (Dec–Feb) is frequently snowy. Overnight temperatures fall well below freezing. The City of Lakes Loppet (Feb) is an urban cross-country skiing festival, with races and participation.

Saint Paul, the state capital of Minnesota, forms the "Twin Cities" with neighboring Minneapolis. It’s home to the Science Museum of Minnesota, with its dinosaur specimens and immersive theater. The Minnesota History Center has interactive exhibits about the region's history. Nearby is the beaux arts Cathedral of Saint Paul. The Cass Gilbert–designed Minnesota State Capitol features paintings of Civil War scenes.
The city’s Como Park Zoo & Conservatory has animals like snow leopards and Galapagos tortoises, plus botanical gardens. Acclaimed writer F. Scott Fitzgerald once lived on Summit Avenue, which is known for its Victorian buildings. The imposing James J. Hill House, the former home of the railroad magnate, is now a museum. Life in the late 1800s is re-created with period furnishings at the Alexander Ramsey House. Parks and trails hug the shores of the Mississippi River, which is popular for boating and birdwatching.

This is a must see and do, at least once! Beautiful stadium. Bit spendy once inside for this mom but there are ways to save once inside.

"We have been to games and events here and always enjoy the place. Easy public transportation with the light rail as well as lots of parking. If you are from out of town, park at the Mall of America and take the train."
